Luckily, this support could be found in the form of SmartJacks. We added supplemental support beams and jacked them up against the floor joists. The jacks now rest on concrete pavers and can withstand thousands of pounds of pressure.

Over time we will be able to adjust these jacks to keep the home safe. The homeowners were thrilled with the results and their newly protected home.

Consistent runoff eroded and pushed the dirt out form under the concrete around this home and formed cracks. The changing pressure allowing cracks and shifting to develop. The homeowner hired us to find a proper solution to the water issues.

We were able to lift areas of the concrete and seal the cracks with our PolyLevel and NexusPro products. Also, we installed buried downspouts and drains along the edges and in trouble areas to funnel runoff into the downspout drainage. All the water was expelled and drained outside the home to an existing grate.

The homeowners were thrilled with the new system that will handle all the rainwater and keep it from harming the concrete around the home.

Underneath this home in High Point, NC there was the basement was experiencing extreme pressure from outside its walls. The pressure started to form small bowing at first and the homeowner applied carbon fiber strips to hold it back. However, in a short time, the other walls began to leak and crack severely.

Basements, such as this one, that are built partially above ground tend to experience water seepage quicker. This is because after each rain there is runoff and moist dirt running directly against the block or brick walls. All this water and moisture eventually seeps into the basement or evaporates into the basement air. This water was causing mold and pools of water to build up inside the home.

To fix the water intrusion and the related symptoms, we installed a full perimeter waterproofing system with WaterGuard and a TripleSafe sump pump.
